The golden shores of California provided the perfect backdrop for this intimate maternity series. Working with expecting mother Clara, we explored themes of anticipation and transformation against the state's diverse landscapes - from rugged coastal cliffs to serene desert blooms.
What made this session special was Clara's willingness to embrace the raw emotions of pregnancy. We captured quiet moments of reflection, joyful laughter as waves lapped at her feet, and the powerful silhouette of her form against sunset skies.
Technical notes: Shot primarily with Canon R5 and 85mm f/1.4 lens, utilizing natural light enhanced with subtle reflector fill. Post-processing emphasized warm tones and soft contrast to complement the emotional narrative.
